Meet Courteney!
THE CREATIVE DIRECTOR
When I ask my mum what I used to say I wanted to be when I grew up she can’t remember me saying anything other than a Graphic Designer. I learnt what a graphic designer was in my early teens and since then it just seemed right. I love what I do, each day I get to work with incredible people and help make their dreams come true.
I started Sunday Morning Studio to make what could be a stressful time for some business owners, as they are getting ready to launch their idea, feel as easy as Sunday morning. I created processes and systems to allow for a seamless experience. I have had the pleasure of working with over 70 businesses, of all sizes, from all around the world. I pour my heart into every project I work on, and love creating impactful & memorable brands for inspired female-led businesses.
Our story
2016
THE BEGINNING
In 2016 Courteney began her graphic design journey by studying a Bachelor of Design with Honours majoring in Visual Communication Design. In the summer of 2017 Courteney wanted a way to stay creating constantly while on her University break. She created an instagram account and did a 100 days of design challenge, posting every day a new design.
2019
THE SIDE HUSTLE
Courteney graduated University in 2019 and began freelancing. Courteney Designs grew as a business and Courteney was growing a cliental. While working part time as a designer for a print company, Courteney Designs was growing and taking up all of her spare time. Courteney quickly fell in love with working for herself and wanted to take her business to the next level.
2021
THE REAL BEGINNING
In May of 2021 Courteney Designs rebranded to Sunday Morning Studio, a professional creative studio building impactful & memorable brands for inspired female-led businesses. At the end of 2021 Courteney made the leap to take Sunday Morning Studio full time which has been her best decision yet, giving her the time to fully immerse herself as a business owner.
